Kristen Stewart stars in the upcoming thriller “Underwater”, where a crew of aquatic researchers are terrorized by a creature at the bottom of the ocean. The actress opens up about her character Norah and reveals what it was like to film a scary movie under water.

Kristen Stewart talks about how difficult it was to film ‘Underwater’ and Extra Butter reviews the new movie. Also, interviews with Jessica Henwick and Mamoudou Athie.

Jessica Henwick talks about how she ended up in a neck brace while filming the movie ‘Underwater.’ Mamoudou Athie also talks about how hard the shoot was for this movie. The two also joke with Mark S. Allen about starting their own talk show, body language, and sleeping positions.

Kristen Stewart says making the movie ‘Underwater’ was absolutely horrible because of the conditions and the realistic way they filmed the movie. Kristen also talks about her fear of water and what ultimately convinced her to do the movie.

Kristen Stewart on ‘Underwater’ and Why She’s Taking a Break from Acting

With director William Eubank’s (The Signal) Underwater now playing in theaters, I recently sat down with Kristen Stewart to talk about making the sci-fi thriller. As you probably know from the trailers, Stewart is part of an underwater research team that’s forced to scramble to safety after an earthquake devastates their subterranean laboratory. Unlike a lot of films that set up the situation with a lot of foreshadowing and character development, Underwater begins with Stewart brushing her teeth and almost immediately the shit hits the fan. It’s a 90-minute non-stop thriller. If you’re afraid of the unexplored regions of the ocean, you might want to skip this film. Underwater was written by Brian Duffield and Adam Cozad and also stars Vincent Cassel, John Gallagher Jr., T.J. Miller, Mamoudou Athie, and Jessica Henwick.

During the interview, Stewart talked about why she was drawn to the script, why she doesn’t like saying “no” to things, if she enjoys swimming in the ocean, and more. In addition, if you’re not aware, Stewart is getting ready to write and direct her first feature, which is based on Lidia Yuknavitch’s novel The Chronology of Water. Stewart said she’s trying to finish the first draft before starting on her next acting role in a few weeks and after that wraps she’s going to completely focus on her feature directorial debut.

Here’s the synopsis of The Chronology of Water from Amazon:

“This is not your mother’s memoir. In The Chronology of Water, Lidia Yuknavitch expertly moves the reader through issues of gender, sexuality, violence, and the family from the point of view of a lifelong swimmer turned artist. In writing that explores the nature of memoir itself, her story traces the effect of extreme grief on a young woman’s developing sexuality that some define as untraditional because of her attraction to both men and women. Her emergence as a writer evolves at the same time and takes the narrator on a journey of addiction, self-destruction, and ultimately survival that finally comes in the shape of love and motherhood.”

Jessica Henwick & Mamoudou Athie on Underwater & Why Oceans Are Scary

With director William Eubank’s (The Signal) Underwater now playing in theaters, I recently sat down with Jessica Henwick & Mamoudou Athie to talk about making the sci-fi thriller. As you probably know from the trailers, Kristen Stewart is part of an underwater research team that’s forced to scramble to safety after an earthquake devastates their subterranean laboratory. Underwater was written by Brian Duffield and Adam Cozad and also stars Vincent Cassel, John Gallagher Jr., and T.J. Miller.

During the interview, Jessica Henwick & Mamoudou Athie talked about if they can still go swimming in the ocean, why Henwick doesn’t like it when people swim in a hotel pool when it’s next to the ocean, why filming Underwater was a challenging shoot, and more. In addition, with Henwick rumored to be in The Matrix 4 and Athie returning for Jurassic World 3, I tried to get them to talk about each project.
