A History of Horror with Mark Gatiss Part Two Home Counties Horror (2010)

Unread post by Krappy » 7 months ago

This second episode takes a look at how the horror genre pretty much died down after WW2 and how things didn’t pick back up until Hammer and their release of THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and HORROR OF Dracula. This here leads to the likes of Roger Corman and Vincent Price. Film like NIGHT OF THE DEMON and THE HAUNTING are also looked at. This here leads to Amicus as well as stuff like DR. TERROR’S HOUSE OF HORRORS, FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE and ASYLUM.
